About this service

This booking page is operated by Belong Church Melbourne to help people arrange a catch-up or phone call with Ely Macgregor.

Information we collect

When you make a booking, we collect the name, optional note and optional suggested location you enter, together with the booking type, date and time you choose. These details are added to Ely's Google Calendar so he can manage the appointment.

Optional calendar comparison

If you choose to compare your Google Calendar, the page requests permission to check when your primary calendar is busy. It does not request, read or display event names, descriptions, attendees, locations or notes.

Your Google access token is encrypted in a secure browser cookie, used only during the booking session and expires within one hour. It is removed when a compared booking is completed. We do not request offline access or store a permanent connection to your Google account.

How information is used and shared

We use the information only to compare availability, prevent scheduling conflicts, create the booking and manage the appointment. Booking information is not sold, used for advertising or shared except with service providers needed to operate this page and Google Calendar.

Calendar free/busy information is used momentarily to calculate compatible times and is not retained. Booking details remain in Ely's calendar for ordinary appointment administration and record keeping.

Your choice

Connecting your Google Calendar is optional. You can book without connecting it, stop comparing at any time, or revoke access from your Google Account permissions.

Google API data

Ely Booking Calendar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Security

We use reasonable technical safeguards to protect information handled by this service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
